The Betwun guide
Betwun fees and payouts explained
New Betwun bets store a 5% fee on profit. The original winning stake is not the fee base, and wallet settlement is separate from a withdrawal to an external wallet.
A $10 versus $10 example
Two equal $10 stakes create a $20 pot. The winner’s profit before the fee is $10. A 5% profit fee is $0.50, leaving a $19.50 wallet credit: the original $10 stake plus $9.50 net profit.
The losing participant receives $0 from that head-to-head pot. Fees are calculated in integer cents and rounded down to whole cents.
The rate belongs to the bet
The fee rate is stored when a bet is created, so the agreed rate does not change later. Older bets that have no stored fee rate remain fee-free, including their side markets. Check the rate displayed on the individual bet.
Side-market fees apply to each participant’s positive net profit across their positions in that side market. They are calculated separately from any profit that participant earns in the head-to-head pot.
When no settlement fee applies
Cancelled unmatched bets and void outcomes refund stakes without a settlement fee. A one-sided side pool also refunds without a fee. Payment-provider and network costs are separate from these betting settlement fees.
From settlement to withdrawal
A settled win credits the in-app wallet. A withdrawal request debits the available balance and enters the staff review queue. Withdrawals are processed manually; they are not instant automated payouts.
Staff send an approved withdrawal through the payment provider and record its transaction hash. A rejected request refunds the in-app balance. A recorded transaction hash alone does not establish that funds have arrived in the destination wallet.
